| New volunteer opportunity |
This first project consist of landscaping of new house on Highland St.
(No. off E. Henry between Reidville Rd and Forest St. at top of the hill). |

Go north to the cul-de-sac. The 2 houses are on the left (west) side of the St. |
We will have 4 trees (6-8')and 8-10 shrubs to plant and either sod or Bermuda seed to scatter/sow.
The landscaping project is scheduled for Tuesday, July 22nd. We'll beat the heat and start at 7:00 AM.
Bring shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, water hoses, for digging in and planting. I will bring fertilizer. |

The "Farmers Market" opened on Saturday, May 10, 2008.
On Saturday, May 17, Joe Maple & Charlie Gray launched our support of the Market as the first volunteer team for 2008.
We will provide volunteers two Saturdays each month:
- May 31
- June 14
- June 28
- July 12
- July 26.

The Converse College Rose Garden is maintained by Spartanburg Master Gardeners and coordinated
by Elizabeth Joyce. It is a spring to fall project eligible for master gardener hours scheduled at your own pace.
