| Earth Day Celebration | Saturday, April 19 10am to 3pm | The Garden and the Watershed Ecology Center will host an Earth Day celebration with other local environmental, conservation, activists groups. Activities for children and families with lots of hands-on participation. There will be animals to touch and look at as well as eggs, insect collections, and much more! Live music and shopping for nature based work by local artists during Spartanburg’s Earth Day Celebration. Learn more about earth day click here |
| Spring Plant Sale | Saturday, April 26 9am-3pm | In conjunction with the Spartanburg Men’s Garden Club— Thousands of trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses and vines will be available for this one day event. The purpose of the sale is to provide quality plants at a low cost for home and community landscaping and to provide funds for the Men’s Garden Club's community beautification and Hatcher Garden support. Instructions and advice for proper selection and planting will be available. |
| Iris Show | April 26 from 9am to 3pm | Come see the best! The 25th annual Piedmont Carolina Iris Society show will be held on during the same time as Hatcher Garden’s Spring Plant Sale. This event is open to the public and will be held at the Hatcher Garden Office, 832 John B. White, Sr. Blvd. Anyone may enter the show for judging. | Twilight in the Garden | May 8 6:30pm to 10:30pm | Hatcher Garden's annual fundraising event, Twilight in the Garden, begins with a twilight walk of the grounds followed by food and drink, a silent auction and a live auction. This fun event raises a significant portion of the Garden's operating revenue and provides a unique opportunity for community supporters to enjoy a night out in Spartanburg! This is a ticketed event, reservations required. |
